Dear Cricket Lane Dental Patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visits to our office. Our infection control processes are designed so that we keep both our patients and staff safe and healthy. We follow the infection control recommendations made by the Ohio State Dental Board (OSDB), the American Dental Association (ADA), the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA). We have been using our recent down time to make sure we are up to date and following the latest guidelines that have been issued.

You will notice some changes when it is time for your next appointment.

-Our office will communicate with you beforehand to ask some screening questions. You will be asked similar questions when you arrive. Your temperature will also be taken.

-We will have hand sanitizer available for use upon entering and leaving the building.

-The waiting room is free of any magazines and a lot of the chairs have been removed to allow for social distancing

-If you are scheduled for a prophy (cleaning) appointment with the hygienist you may come into the waiting room

-If you are scheduled with the dentist, we ask that you call the office to make sure we are ready to seat you. If we are not quite ready, we may ask you to wait in your car until we call you or come out and get you.

-Please wear a mask when you arrive at your appointment.

-If you forget yours, we can provide one.

-Providers will be wearing N95 or KN95 masks along with surgical masks and face shields to protect both patients and themselves.
